At Hambrick Chiropractic, we specialize in two techniques.

The Advanced Orthogonal Technique specifically detects and corrects subluxations of the upper cervical spine, most specifically, the first bone in the spine called the Atlas or C1.

However, subluxations can occur anywhere there is a vertebra with spinal nerves surrounding it, and misalignments can occur anywhere there is a joint (knees, shoulders, feet, hands, etc.).

To address this, we also incorporate Activator Methods®.

Both procedures utilize pre and post evaluations so that adjustments are never administered unnecessarily, and both are performed with instruments that allow us to be more precise, gentle and consistent than we could ever be with our hands alone.

PEMF Therapy

PEMF stands for Pulsed ElectroMagnetic Fields, which are widely used to improve circulation and cell metabolism. Pulsed electromagnetic fields are not the same thing as static, or non-moving magnetic fields, which are generally unable to deeply penetrate the body. A pulsed electromagnetic field, however, is quite dynamic, and able to penetrate all the way through the body, creating a cascade of effects within the body.

It is important to distinguish between the electromagnetic fields used for therapeutic purposes, and other man-made electromagnetic fields from power lines, microwave ovens, cell phones, etc., which can cause damage to our bodies. The PEMF therapy we recommend is a safe, natural electromagnetic field, and is complementary to the chemistry and functions of the body.

Spinal Decompression Therapy

Nonsurgical spinal decompression therapy, stretches and relaxes the spine intermittently in a controlled manner. This process creates a negative intradiscal pressure (pressure within the disc itself), which pulls herniated or bulging disc material back into the disc space and promotes the passage of healing nutrients, into the disc and fosters a better healing environment. The process also provides relief to compressed and inflamed joints of the spine that are not necessarily effected by a bulging or herniating a disc.
