Cellular Exercise and PEMF
Poor diet, lack of exercise, harmful electromagnetic fields from electronics, toxic chemicals, air pollutants and environmental factors have all been proven to contribute to chronic pain and illness.
The key to overcoming this lies right inside of your body.
When we look at the human cell it functions much like a capacitor, accumulating and holding an electrical charge. Just as a cell phone battery holds a charge, the cells in our body also hold a charge.
A normal, healthy cell carries a voltage of 70 millivolts. Whenever an area of the body is ill or injured, the voltage in those cells drops. In fact, people who are sick, may experience a voltage drop to around 20 millivolts. As a result, not enough ATP is produced to power the cell.
PEMF builds energy within cells, oxygenation and alkalizing them. This causes blood cells to separate, creating more surface area for oxygen and waste exchange, normalizing cellular voltage levels, offsetting illness or injury.
This means that PEMF can alleviate pain, inflammation, but it also facilitates tissue healing. So PEMF doesn’t just cover up symptoms, but also helps the body to heal faster.
PEMF is cleared by the FDA for several conditions including:
- Stimulating bone growth
- Treating post-operative edema and pain
- Treating depressions in patients unresponsive to medication
Below is an x-ray taken of a doctor who broke his arm on the 10th of march. The doctor applied PEMF using the same technology we have in our clinic to the site of the fracture for 9 days for one hour a day.
The after picture was taken 9 days after the first picture on the 19th of March and as you can see, the bone has grown back together.
While this demonstrates the effect PEMF has on the healing of bone, keep in mind, it is having this effect on all the cells and tissues of your body.
PEMF SESSIONS INCREASE:
- Circulation
- Bone density
- Range of Motion
- Muscle strength
- Nerve response
- Energy production
- Lean muscle mass
- Stamina
- Endurance
PEMF SESSIONS DECREASE:
- Pain
- Stress
- Edema
- Bruising
- Swelling
- Stiffness
- Inflammation
- Muscle spasms
PEMF changes your energy level at the cellular level
PEMF stimulates GABA
PEMF improves sleep and relaxation
Dr. Andrew Basset, M.D., a researcher at the Columbia University Medical Center, while studying the effect of PEMF on the cellular function of connective tissue concluded:
“A wide variety of challenging musculoskeletal disorders has been treated successfully over the past two decades. These include nerve regeneration, wound healing, graft behavior, diabetes and myocardial and cerebral ischemia (heart attack and stroke), among other conditions. Preliminary data even suggest possible benefits in controlling malignancy.”
Pulse Centers
At our facility, we use PEMF equipment from Pulse Centers. The Pulse Centers systems produce up to 10Hz of pulsing power and generates a magnetic field more than 3 times stronger than any Cellular Exercise system in the US.
